We are a virtual gallery that reflects the powerful humanitarian spirit and explores the intersections of creativity, culture, society and social justice.

Through fine art and artisan craft partnerships stories emerge of artists and creative activists seeking voices, solutions and positive change in the global village

We connect interdisciplinary curriculum for use in communities and schools, along with event planning for fundraisers that address local issues.

                                            Current Projects Seeking Funding:

Community Connector is a knowledge transfer database of best practices from transnational artisan partnerships (TAPS). The making and preservation of traditional crafts is not only a cultural issue. Mohammad Yunus (Grameen Bank) noted that traditional crafts can be a key to alleviating poverty and he realized that revitalised crafts could help revitalise rural life.

While it important to identify current successful TAP partnerships, the real value created when successful models are identified and then scaled or replicated to maximize their impact. The most effective way to reap value from these “learning laboratories” is to harvest the lessons from both the successes (scalable or not) and the failures and share this knowledge with those who can put it to good use.

The Community Connector will act as a portal for artisan and craft communities to connect for mutual benefit to individuals, community and craft.
Database will include:

Case studies / Best Practices, Lessons Learned, Global Resources, PresentationTemplates, Guides and Toolkits.

School to School is a knowledge transfer database of best practices, toolkits and resources for developing sister-schools relationships.

Based on the Namtenga Project at Cranbrook Schools fosters independence and self-sustainability in the village and instills social responsibility and global awareness in the Cranbrook students.

Mohammad Yunus (Grameen Bank) noted that traditional crafts can be a key to alleviating poverty and he realized that revitalised crafts could help revitalise rural life. He saw the possibilities for empowering and enhancing the status of women for craft enterprises that can improve community economics and quality of life.  The digital age makes it possible to create connections between communities, villages and schools. Cultural life and economies can be improved to be more prosperous and sustainable by linking a traditional artisan craft industry to a world market.
Database will include:

Case studies / Best Practices / Lessons Learned / Global Resources / Templates / Curriculum Guides and Toolkits.
